Hi!
I'm Elisa, a young artist based between Modena, my hometown, and Bolzano.
I studied foreign languages and graduated with an italian-french diploma (ESABAC). I also spent my fourth year of high school in the United States. Later I started my university career at Unimore, studying environmental engineering; afterwards, I switched to the faculty of Design and Arts of Unibz, where I'm currently attending my last year, majoring in art.
My work is rooted in the observation of human connections and the intimacy they hold. Through drawing and oil pastels, I portray the people around me. Soft textures and rich colors allow me to explore the quiet gestures, glances, and unspoken bonds that shape our relationships. I also work with sculpture, choosing materials that carry a personal or emotional significance. Through this tactile medium, I reflect on memory, presence, and absence, creating forms that evoke a sense of belonging and deep connection. At the heart of my practice is the desire to reveal the intimacy woven into everyday moments—the quiet emotions that bind us to the people and spaces we inhabit.
